Reproductions of cast iron garden furniture and garden ornaments have been appearing on the market in large numbers since the mid-1990s.
Many items that had not been widely reproduced until then - such as fountains, birdbaths, chairs, benches, urns, garden vases, planters and fountains - were copied from originals.
I found a piece by Mark Chervenka in which he points out the differences between old and new cast iron. In this article I will limit myself to the garden vases. see pdf doc.
